The residential development occupied a 0.45-hectare infill site positioned to the east of the established village core. The scheme contained fourteen low-density dwellings, strategically arranged to consolidate and reinforce the settlement edge. A series of semi- detached addressed the public roadway, establishing a well-defined public frontage that contributed positively to the village streetscape.

Within the interior of the site, additional dwelling units were accessed via a shared central mews street, fostering a sense of community while ensuring efficient vehicular circulation.

The layout was carefully calibrated to prioritise safe access and pedestrian pathways, integrating on-plot parking offering a sustainable intensification of the village fabric.

The project’s considered massing and material expression reinterpret vernacular traditions while cultivating a cohesive village-scale identity.
