This project introduces a faceted extension to an existing dwelling, its angled walls strategically orienting views toward the sky and the landscaped garden beyond.

 

A sheltered canopy extends the living domain outdoors, offering protected alfresco spaces throughout the year. Internally, a gradually ascending ceiling line expands the sense of volume, amplifying the spatial generosity and increasing the perceived scale of the primary living areas.

 

While distinctly contemporary in expression, the addition was carefully composed to form a measured counterpoint to the original structure and its suburban setting.
